Key Responsibilities of the Role

As a Module Engineer in TD Lithography, you will:

  • Solve critical engineering challenges related to technology and product development
  • Develop and optimize software solutions and algorithms to address complex tool and process interactions
  • Apply machine learning and AI techniques to identify trends and patterns in large-scale manufacturing data
  • Drive improvements in overlay and registration metrology using best-in-class semiconductor practices
  • Collaborate with equipment vendors to resolve imaging and measurement challenges
  • Troubleshoot and implement solutions in automated factory systems
  • Maintain statistically controlled processes across production environments
  • Deliver concise, well-documented daily passdown communications

Minimum Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates must have:

  • MS degree in one of the following disciplines:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Material Science
    • Chemistry
    • Physics
    • Or related fields

AND at least one of the following:

  • 6+ months of experience in semiconductor fabrication or nano-lithography
  • 6+ months of experience working in Linux/Unix environments
  • 6+ months of experience in machine learning and AI techniques
  • 1+ year of experience in mathematics, including:
    • Algebra
    • Linear Algebra
    • Calculus
    • Statistics
    • Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE)

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following skills will have a strong advantage:

  • 1+ year of experience with Python or other server-side technologies
  • Experience in C++ programming or Python scripting
  • Familiarity with statistical tools such as JMP
  • Experience with scientific tools like MATLAB or Mathematica
  • 6+ months of experience in algorithm development
  • Hands-on exposure to nanometrology techniques, such as:
    • Optical Microscopy
    • Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
    • Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)
